Richard Dubrawski

Welcome to my homepage.

I started this page while an under graduate at The Pennsylvania State University. In May of 1999 I completed my studies as an undergraduate in Electrical Engineering earning my BSEE. I then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus where my research area was in the control of multi-class queueing networks. I am currently employed as a software engineer by ViaSat Inc. (VSAT) working on embedded systems.

My hobbies have enjoyed a resurgance due to my recently discovered free time. I enjoy bicycling and hope to eventually have a page dedicated to rides I have done. I also enjoy playing racquetball, swimming and weight training. I plan to take up scuba diving and ocean kayaking this year. On the less athletic side, I enjoy working with computers, and particularly the linux operating system. I am currently learning how to play the guitar, and I enjoy the opportunity to help tutor at the Standley Middle School here in San Diego.

If you haven't checked out the awesome singer Beth Hart then you are really missing out. She performs in So. Cal. rarely anymore, but if you love blues and rock you must check out her show, or CDs.
